Peanut Butter Cups

If you love peanut butter cups like me, make sure to add the ground flaxseed for that classic gritty texture on the peanut butter you get from a Reese's cup

Ingredients:


2 cups nestle chocolate chips

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp ground flaxseed (optional)

Directions:


1.Line a cupcake tray with cupcake liners

2.Melt one cup of chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for 60 seconds (may need an additional 15 seconds to fully melt)

3.Using a small spoon, place a spoonful of melted chocolate into the bottom of the cupcake liner

4.When you are finished, put the tray in the freezer for ten minutes while preparing the peanut butter filling

5.Using the same bowl as before, melt half a cup of peanut butter for 60 seconds

6.Take the bowl out of the microwave and combine two tbsp of brown sugar (or any other sugar) to the peanut butter

7.After spooning the peanut butter filling onto each cup, place the tray back in the freezer while melting the rest of the chocolate in the microwave for 60 seconds (again, may need an additional 15 seconds to fully melt

8.When the chocolate is done melting, take the tray out of the freezer and spread a spoonful onto each cup

9.Refreeze when you are finished for a minimum of one hour or until ready to serve
