Chocolate Brownie Truffles

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter + 3 tbsp. butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

4 oz chocolate chips (3/4 cup)

1/2 cup Hershey’s dark cocoa powder

2 eggs

1/2 cup almond flour

1/4 cup coconut flour

1/4 tsp baking soda


Directions:

1.preheat the oven to 350 degrees

2.combine the eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking soda

3.in a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together in 30 second intervals in order to avoid burning

4.add the melted butter and chocolate to the bowl with eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, flour and baking soda

5.line a baking dish with parchment paper and evenly spread brownie batter on top (*optional* add additional chocolate chips to the batter)

6.bake for 20 minutes

7.allow the tray of brownies to cool for at least twenty minutes

8.after washing your hands thoroughly, use a cookie scoop to form each freshly baked brownie into a truffle

9. *optional* dust with cocoa powder and/or powdered sugar
